August Snow

August Snow, a former Detroit detective who took down a corrupt police department and mayor through a wrongful dismissal lawsuit, returns to his childhood neighborhood of Mexicantown with hopes of revitalizing it using his $12 million settlement. However, his past soon catches up with him when Eleanore Paget, a finance magnate and acquaintance, seeks his help to investigate suspicious activities at her investment bank. After her sudden death is ruled a suicide, August is compelled to dig deeper, uncovering a web of danger woven by Detroit's most notorious criminals.
