In 1988, thirteen-year-old Andy Miller and his friends witness a savage attack on their classmate Poppy and the murder of her sister, leading to tragic consequences when their accused suspect takes his own life. Decades later, the discovery of Carl's body by the same flooded railway line unravels the remaining friends' lives, as they grapple with hauntings from their past.
