Baseball hopeful Bo Crutcher’s dreams of a major league career are turned upside down when his estranged son, AJ, unexpectedly arrives at his doorstep. To navigate this new challenge, Bo enlists the help of Kimberly van Dorn, a media consultant accustomed to polishing the images of pro athletes. As they work together during a transformative winter on Willow Lake, Kim discovers that Bo has much more to teach her about love and life than she anticipated, challenging her perceptions of success and family.
