Along the River of Flesh

In "Along the River of Flesh," serial killer Edmund Cox makes a chilling return to his hometown of Killen after escaping prison, driven by a dark quest along the Hollow River to fulfill a final deal with The River Man. Meanwhile, Detective Keith Drakeson, eager to reclaim his legacy, follows a hunch back to Cox's origins, while private investigator Gary Chatmon seeks a missing girl believed to be among Cox's victims. Their paths converge with a teenage runaway, June Audrey, who is also drawn to the woods and the sinister legend stalking them all.
