Lucifer's Star

Count Cassius Mass, once the celebrated star pilot for the Crius Archduchy, grapples with the aftermath of his nation's defeat by the Commonwealth, ultimately realizing he fought for the wrong side. Now living as a reluctant navigator on an interstellar freight hauler, he attempts to conceal his tumultuous past. However, his old life resurfaces when he is conscripted by the enemy, tasked with a perilous mission: to eliminate his own clone before it can inspire the fallen Crius Archduchy to rise again.
