The Stars and Their Light

In 1947 Roswell, New Mexico, Sister Mary Agnes arrives to establish a monastery amidst growing uncertainty following the rumored crash of an unidentified craft. As the town's residents grapple with their faith, she forms a bond with teenager Betty Campbell, who bears the scars of the mysterious event, and becomes entwined with handyman Harvey, a witness to the crash. Confronted by her own crisis of faith, Mary Agnes must navigate the tension between her religious upbringing and the complex truths she uncovers, challenging her sense of agency and purpose.
