The United Front

In "The United Front," Alfred Noyes presents a powerful collection from the 1914 "Poems of the Great War," published in support of The Prince of Wales' national relief fund. Although he could not serve in the military due to his eyesight, Noyes contributed to the war effort through propaganda and morale-boosting narratives. Additionally, the narrator vows to donate 50% of proceeds to The Royal British Legion Poppy Day Appeal, encouraging listeners to support this worthy cause.
