The Demons of Paris

In January of 1372, the space-time continuum is shattered, allowing demons to pour into Paris, where grisly, unhuman murders plague the city. In an attempt to combat the chaos, the Grand Chatelet summons a demon, inadvertently bringing a drama teacher, her son, and eight high school students from the twenty-first century into the mix, along with their modern electronic devices. As more demons become fascinated with this advanced technology, King Charles V faces an array of challenges: his ailing health, a contentious church, and his ambitious brother, while entrusting the unruly students and their new companions to the capable Constable Bertrand du Guesclin and his clever wife, Tiphaine.
