Paul Pennyfeather is unexpectedly thrust into a schoolmaster role at Llanabba Castle after being sent down from Oxford for indecent behavior. Surrounded by an eccentric array of colleagues, including the inept Prendy and the perpetually inebriated Captain Grimes, Paul navigates a chaotic environment.
