Death Come Quickly

In "Death Come Quickly," herbalist and ex-lawyer China Bayles returns to investigate the suspicious murder of her friend Karen Prior, who was fatally injured during a mugging. As China uncovers connections between Karen's death and a fifteen-year-old cold case involving the murder of Christine Morris, she suspects deeper motives tied to a valuable collection of Mexican art.
