Freedom Fire

In "Magdalys and the Squad," the team embarks on a perilous journey south on pteroback to rescue Magdalys’s older brother amidst the turmoil of the Civil War. They ally with the Louisiana Native Guard, an all-black regiment fighting for freedom under General Sheridan's command, who is desperately seeking an advantage in battle. As Magdalys grapples with her emerging powers, she faces a heart-wrenching choice between aiding the Union Army in a critical moment and continuing her search for her brother, revealing a deeper connection to dinosaurs that could change the course of the war.
