Alicia Yoder, a member of a diplomatic contingent at the US embassy in Taiwan, is unexpectedly thrust into the role of an assassin during an emergency meeting. Struggling with dissociative amnesia and haunted by fractured memories from her past as a neuroscience graduate student, she grapples with her unsettling new reality while training for a covert government agency.
