In the small town of Custer Falls, Montana, the arrival of terrifying nightmares sets off a chain of events that will last thirty years. After a field trip to Bloodtooth Caverns leads Wes Henson and his friends to stumble upon an ancient relic, they unknowingly unleash a malevolent force that transforms their once peaceful community into a nightmare. As children fall into comas and adults meet gruesome fates in their sleep, Wes must navigate both the waking world and the dreamscape to restore safety and confront the darkness they unleashed.
