At the Summer Tentacular, an annual convention for fans of H. P. Lovecraft, horror writer Colleen Danzig is immersed in a bizarre world of literary enthusiasts and eccentric collectors. Her unsettling experience escalates when her obnoxious roommate, novelist Panossian, is found murdered, igniting a mystery that the other convention-goers seem to ignore.
