In the summer of 1976, 13-year-old Ryan is thrilled to celebrate his birthday in the eerie Matthews House, which he convinced his parents to stay in. However, their exciting vacation quickly turns into a fight for survival as they encounter an evil presence that Lillian Matthews inadvertently unleashed years ago.
