Shakedowners

Captain Iridius B. Franklin, a graduate of Space Command Academy known for his lackluster career, spends his days hauling cargo and testing newly constructed starships for faults. However, during a routine shakedown mission aboard the advanced FSC Gallaway, Earth comes under attack from a mysterious alien life-form. Suddenly thrust into command of the most sophisticated ship in the galaxy, Iridius must navigate the chaos with an unqualified and understaffed crew, all while trying to keep the starship intact.
