City of the Saints

In 1859, as war threatens to engulf the United States, intelligence agents gather in the Kingdom of Deseret, located in the Rocky Mountains. Led by Sam Clemens aboard his amphibious steam-truck, the Jim Smiley, the U.S. Army aims to secure the kingdom’s allegiance with its advanced technology, while facing opposition from Captain Richard Burton and secret agent Edgar Allan Poe. Complications arise from the kingdom's own counterintelligence operatives, including Roxie Snow and Marshal Orrin Porter Rockwell, all against a backdrop of intrigue involving the enigmatic inventor Orson Pratt and his questionable motivations.
