In the small town of Magic, New Mexico, Lacey Adams finds solace caring for animals at her Touch of Magic Animal Shelter after her husband's death. When intergalactic Star Ranger Frost is on the hunt for a runaway fugitive who has traveled to Earth, he unexpectedly becomes entangled in Lacey's life when she is taken hostage.
