Arena (Annotated)

In "The Arena," Carson is abruptly snatched from an intergalactic war between humanity and the malevolent Outsiders, finding himself confined within a vast, inhospitable arena on a foreign planet. Stripped of weapons and clothing, he faces an Outsider, with an unyielding barrier separating them. As the last hope for their respective races, they are forced into a lethal duel, where the survival of one species hinges on the death of the other, dictated by an omnipotent being.
