"Let There Be Light" is a science fiction short story by Robert A. Heinlein, initially published in May 1940 under the pseudonym Lyle Monroe. As the second installment in Heinlein's Future History, it explores themes rooted in his early leftist beliefs and includes references to George Bernard Shaw's "The Apple Cart." The story is part of the collection "The Man Who Sold the Moon" but was excluded from the omnibus "The Past Through Tomorrow." An accompanying reference material will be available upon purchase.
