Ragamuffin

In a galaxy governed by the Benevolent Satrapy, 48 worlds are tightly controlled by alien Satraps who restrict human technological advancement. Amidst this oppressive rule, the Ragamuffins, descendants of Earth's islanders, survive as pirates and smugglers on the fringes of society. As the Satraps launch a brutal campaign against them, a runaway woman named Nashara, combat-enhanced and harboring a devastating weapon, finds herself hunted and desperate to return home before unleashing chaos upon the galaxy.
