Between Two Fires

In 1348, Thomas, a disgraced knight, discovers a young girl alone in a ravaged Norman village, orphaned by the Black Death. With her unsettling innocence, she reveals that the plague is just a precursor to a greater cosmic battle involving fallen angels under Lucifer challenging heaven. Convincing Thomas that she has seen divine angels and receives messages from the righteous dead, she persuades him to guide her through a grim landscape to Avignon, where she aims to confront the evil plaguing their world. As they journey, Thomas confronts his own lost nobility amid a harrowing conflict between angels, demons, and the essence of humanity itself.
