Out of Spite, Out of Mind

In Out of Spite, Out of Mind, the discovery that their world is a computer program leads Brit and her friends to explore time travel and the manipulation of code, resulting in chaotic consequences. As Brit the Elder grapples with conflicting memories and a malfunctioning body, her ex-boyfriend Phillip gets entangled in a web of secrecy involving multiple versions of Brit. Meanwhile, complications arise as Martin tries to shield Phillip from a hidden threat, Gwen reacts to a mistaken proposal, and Gary's attempts to help the less fortunate spiral out of control. Together, they confront the possibility that the greatest glitch might be their own flawed interactions.
