New Jersey prosecutor Sandy Moss relocates to a prestigious law firm in Los Angeles seeking a fresh start, but her first day takes a shocking turn when she offends her boss during a meeting with celebrity client Patrick McNabb. Shortly after, Patrick's wife is found dead, and all evidence seems to implicate him. Determined to prove his innocence using his on-screen legal expertise, Patrick insists that Sandy, despite their rocky start, be the one to assist him in clearing his name.
