On the brink of a covert military operation, President Seth Jerrison is shot and taken to a hospital, where Dr. Ranjip Singh is testing a device designed to erase traumatic memories. A terrorist bomb detonates, causing a cardiac arrest and leading to a near-death experience for the president; during this, he accesses memories that are not his own. The bomb's electromagnetic pulse has scrambled Dr. Singh's device, allowing a group of strangers to share memories, including classified information about the military mission that could jeopardize lives. As the characters grapple with this mind-bending crossover, the challenge of identifying who holds which memories intensifies, complicated by hidden agendas.
