The Styx

The Styx is a darkly humorous contemporary fantasy that reimagines Greek mythology within the South Florida Everglades, focusing on the Pompadakis family, descendants of Charon the ferryman, who are cursed to guide souls between life and death. As ancient forces threaten to break the boundaries between worlds, the family must confront their personal struggles with addiction and self-destruction to break free from a centuries-old curse. Blending myth, supernatural suspense, and family drama, the story explores themes of fate, redemption, and inherited legacy in a haunting, mythological setting.
