Paloma Joins the Circus

Set during the summer of 1939, this story follows twelve-year-old Paloma, a member of a traveling Mexican American circus family, as she dreams of becoming a tightrope walker like her mother. While secretly training to join the performers, she builds meaningful bonds with her circus community and experiences the challenges behind the glamorous facade. Ultimately, Paloma must navigate her passions and family expectations to discover where she truly belongs.
