On the Cessation of the Charismata

In "On the Cessation of the Charismata," Jon Mark Ruthven challenges the long-held Protestant belief that spiritual gifts ceased after the apostolic age, offering a thorough examination of the biblical, historical, and theological foundations of cessationism. Through detailed analysis, he argues that the New Testament suggests these miraculous gifts are meant to continue across all generations until Christ’s return. This landmark work invites readers to reconsider a foundational assumption in modern theology.
