The Fantastic Confabulations of an Ageing Tennis Player

The Fantastic Confabulations of an Ageing Tennis Player by Nick Owen is a reflective and evocative audiobook that explores themes of memory, identity, and aging through a blend of humor, darkness, and tenderness. Presented largely as a stage script with moments of meta-cinema, it delves into the blurred lines between reality and imagination, raising thought-provoking questions about what it means to hold onto love, loyalty, and memory. Narrated by a talented cast and accompanied by original artwork, the story offers an imaginative and haunting meditation on the nature of existence in later life.
