Vanguard

The third trilogy in the Ark Royal series follows HMS Vanguard, the Royal Navy's most powerful battleship, as it faces internal challenges and external threats. When a first contact mission goes awry, the ship's crew is thrown into a dangerous interstellar conflict with a formidable alien enemy. Their survival may depend on overcoming both internal discord and enemy fire, in a race against time to return to safety.
