This 24-lecture course explores the diverse practices and beliefs of human societies worldwide, highlighting the insights that cultural anthropology offers in understanding our shared humanity. Through examining various cultural customs, social structures, and practices—ranging from marriage traditions to belief systems—the course encourages a fresh perspective on what is considered natural or human. It also considers how anthropology helps navigate ethical questions and enhances our understanding of cultural differences in an increasingly interconnected world.
