Shocking Psychological Studies and the Lessons They Teach

Join Professor Thad Polk of the University of Michigan in the six-lecture course "Shocking Psychological Studies and the Lessons They Teach," where he examines influential yet controversial psychological experiments from the past. The course explores how these studies have shaped our ethical standards today, guided by principles established to protect research subjects. As it delves into the history of psychological research, it also considers the ongoing challenges of ethically studying the human experience in a rapidly advancing technological landscape.
