Molly Thorn, a former young and hip woman, finds herself back from the afterlife as a middle-aged, brain-glitching, and occasionally hot-flashing undead shop owner, who also serves as Assistant to the Grim Reaper of the Magicals. As she navigates her new undead existence, Molly uncovers a quirky group of mythicals hiding in her attic and deals with the challenges of her ghostly predecessor's legal petition to reclaim her body. Balancing her undead duties and personal dilemmas, she faces a future where losing her body could turn her into a harmless dust bunny.
