A Russian Journal

A RUSSIAN JOURNAL is a compelling memoir capturing the journey of writer John Steinbeck and war photographer Robert Capa as they travel through the Soviet Union shortly after the fall of the iron curtain. Their expedition includes visits to Moscow, Stalingrad, and rural regions of Ukraine and the Caucasus, offering an intimate view of post-World War II life and human resilience. This work stands as both a personal account and a unique historical document, reflecting the perspectives of two influential artists documenting a pivotal moment in history.
