The Iron Hand of Mars

Set in AD 71 amidst the dark forests of Germania Libera, this story follows Falco, an Imperial agent on a mission to locate a suspicious legion commander, while navigating dangerous territories filled with legendary beasts, bloodthirsty barbarians, and eerie spirits. As he journeys down the Rhenus, Falco grapples with treacherous loyalties and personal worries, including his girlfriend Helena Justina's peril back in Rome. Accompanied by a ragtag group of recruits and an unlikely canine companion, he faces numerous challenges in a tumultuous frontier landscape.
