Dumb Witness

Everyone blamed Emily’s accident on a rubber ball her terrier left on the stairs, but she becomes increasingly suspicious that a relative might be trying to harm her. She writes a letter to Hercule Poirot outlining her concerns, but he doesn’t receive it until months later, by which time Emily has already died. The story hints at a mysterious and possibly sinister turn of events surrounding her death.
