Pecked to Death

Sadie Cooper returns to her hometown after her neighbor and mentor's death, intending only to pay her respects before leaving again, but her plans change when she inherits a peculiar request to solve her friend's murder. As she teams up with her former best friend Luke Sawyer, who is trying to move on with his life, they find themselves drawn back into each other's lives and into a dangerous mystery.
