Amid the chaos of World War III, scientists in Antarctica face a deadly new threat when a dead body arrives with Chinese researchers, setting off a wave of murders and the spread of a mysterious, evolving parasite. As violence and madness escalate in the remote base, a small group of survivors must unravel the origins of the parasite, which proves to be more than just a disease, potentially altering the future balance of power.
