When Archbishop Salazar is kidnapped by the El Templo Cult, Mario Martinez embarks on a race against time to locate him before he is sacrificed to the Aztec gods. During his mission, Mario uncovers an elaborate tunnel system beneath Templo Mayor and evidence suggesting the priest may still be alive. The story follows Mario as he navigates these challenges in his quest to rescue Salazar.
