Dead Men and Cats

On the quiet island community of Shadow Island, a series of violent crimes disrupts the peaceful life, including the discovery of a dead man and a live calico kitten in a rowboat and the firebombing of a local bookstore. Despite the sheriff's apparent lack of progress and his negative attitude towards the LGBTQ+ community, residents Megan and Janie, a lesbian couple, grow increasingly concerned as the violence escalates. When their friend Dan is gruesomely murdered, they realize they must uncover the truth before the killer strikes again, suspecting that the crimes may involve someone unexpectedly close to them.
