The Roses Underneath

Set in post-World War II Wiesbaden, Germany, in August 1945, the story follows Anna Klein as she navigates life after the war, supporting herself and her young daughter while working at the US Army's Collecting Point. Her role involves securing Nazi-looted art and helping to restore Germany’s monuments, amid a city trying to rebuild from devastation. As she searches for normalcy, Anna faces the emotional aftermath of war and her personal desire to protect her family from the lingering shadows of the past.
