Taking the Plunge follows Delphina O'Connor, a progressive woman in 1892 Montana who challenges societal expectations with her dreams of independence beyond marriage and family. When she is rescued from a near-drowning incident at the Broadwater Natatorium, her passion for swimming and personal freedom come into focus.
