Jacob is determined to reconnect with Destiny and rebuild their relationship after personal and professional upheaval caused by his ex-girlfriend, Justine. His efforts are complicated by Destiny’s mother's reluctance to let him see her in the hospital, prompting him to focus on resolving a financial crisis at work.
