Tales of the Territory

In 1974, Tim Bowden and his family embarked on a six-month journey across Australia in a split-screen Kombi, traveling from Sydney to Tasmania and capturing stories from travelers and locals along the way. His adventure included key stops such as Cairns, Darwin, and Alice Springs, where he collected firsthand narratives from the outback. These stories were later featured in a series of ABC Radio specials with original music by bush musician Ted Egan.
