In January 2037, Perry Rhodan and his crew face a fateful setback in deep space when their aging spaceship is cast into the void, pushing them to seek refuge on a massive space station known as the Gespinst, home to the human-like Mehandor. Tensions rise as they rely on the Mehandor's help, only to encounter a fleet of Naats—söldner-like soldiers from the Arkon Empire—that open fire, escalating the conflict from space to the icy planet Snowman and leading to unforeseen consequences.
