African Caribbean Marronage

This study explores the lived experiences of African Caribbean individuals in the UK who have shifted from traditional Christianity to "African conscious" or "Black conscious" faiths, highlighting factors that may have influenced their spiritual journeys. Through interviews and focus groups, the book centers their voices, addressing themes of racism and the evolving role of religious institutions. It offers a thoughtful perspective at a time when global discussions around racial injustice and faith are increasingly prominent.
