Nathan Grant, a student at Warrawul Boarding School, experiences a life-altering encounter with a flesh-eating Homunculus, which leads to his death and subsequent resurrection by the alchemic warrior Astrid Rachelle. Given the powers of the arms alchemy—his soul transformed into a weapon—Nathan joins Astrid in hunting the dangerous creatures threatening his town. The story follows his journey to harness his newfound abilities and protect those he cares about.
