Jessica finds herself injured and vulnerable after an accident, as her friends Argo and Raine search for their missing stablemate, Trent. She learns about Trent’s fall and his resulting injury, which has taken away his ability to shift into his Palomino form. Facing an uncertain future, Jessica must decide whether to embrace a new life with her shifter companions at the stable.
