Against the Wall

Kay Winston, a muralist and dedicated runner, tends to escape relationship troubles quickly and practically, often retreating to Bell Harbor, Maine. Barrett "Bear" Coulter, a former Los Angeles architect, has settled in Bell Harbor after selling his business and even moved there in winter, much to the amusement of his friends. When Kay begins working at the Bell Harbor Inn, she finds herself drawn to its handsome owner, though she’s advised to keep her distance romantically. The story unfolds as their paths cross amid the charm and challenges of small-town life.
