The Librarian

Set in Portland, Oregon, this series follows Nienna Havard, a college student and librarian with a secret—her mother has returned from a mysterious disappearance talking about elves and goblins. Meanwhile, Alred Lightvale, an elf tasked with protecting the Historian, arrives in the human world on a urgent mission to find the next Historian, but encounters resistance from Nienna, who isn’t convinced about her role in the unfolding events. The story weaves together elements of mystery, fantasy, and personal dilemmas against a backdrop of supernatural unrest.
